We determine animal evolution by analysing animal body parts preserved as fossils. Sometimes animal foot prints and other signs of their activities also give us valuable informations about their evolution.

But plant parts are not so withstanding to bad weather like animal bones. Plant parts usually degrade very fast and are also thinner except trunk. So how do we find evidences for plant evolution?
